World Aviation Festival: A good place to gain knowledge

During my time at the event, I gained professional and personal insights that have helped me to broaden my knowledge of the sector and to see first-hand how different companies from different parts of the world align their strategies to achieve common goals.

What I learned personally

It was a rewarding challenge to test everything I have learned and practiced in English in a real scenario with people from different cultures and accents. I realize that the hours I dedicated to studying the language were not in vain and are more valuable than one imagines. Furthermore, I can say that I am aware of the importance of English in today’s world.

What I learned professionally

As part of the knowledge acquired, it is worth highlighting the focus of the different airlines and technology providers on developing solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data-driven to offer customers personalized experiences according to their needs. For example, rates and services with differentiated values, according to the profile of the client who makes the purchase flow, such as different types of insurance, according to the information provided in the process.

In addition to this customer-focused flow, it was interesting to learn about the concerns regarding Artificial Intelligence related to security because most senior officials in the sector don’t necessarily know how an artificial intelligence or machine learning model works. This is worrying because it is like having a black box in the system where it is not clear how the information is being handled.

The conclusion

In general, the entire experience was very enriching. I want to advise you to take advantage of the learning platforms that be bolder offers us and the English classes.
